“Dogs gums swollen over teeth”? I love this! I’m always surprised when I hear this but it has happened to me in my own home and I was at first sure it was a sign of something more serious. Now I just laugh and laugh. I guess I should be okay because this isn’t a common occurrence, but it’s still pretty funny.

Dogs gums swollen over teeth have been a very common occurrence at my home this year. It is most often related to the fact that when a dog is in pain its saliva is thick and tends to look as though its stuck in a gummy area. It was so much worse last summer that the whole floor of my house got covered in them. I have to agree with the vet that this is a sign of something far more serious though, like a dental infection.

Dogs often have gum disease because they have lots of saliva to fight off the infection. Now, I’m not saying that dogs with gum disease have to go to the dentist regularly, but the way in which the majority of them get infected is an example of the fact that dogs do not necessarily have the same immunity to dental disease as we do.

So if your dog has gum disease and you notice it, you know it’s serious. Because we know that, if someone had to take care of a dog with gum disease, it’s likely they would be willing to do a lot more than just taking care of the dogs teeth.

Now, the infection. But to truly treat a dog with gum disease, you must get it under control and make a plan to keep the infection under control. In the video above, we see the infection spread from his mouth all the way to the gum on his teeth.

We see the infection spread from the gum on his teeth all the way to the gum on his teeth. That’s a pretty serious situation, but for the most part the team at BarkBox treats serious problems with the least invasive solution. The process for managing a dog’s gum disease is to stop the infection from spreading, and you can see in the video above that BarkBox is a lot better at that than we are.

BarkBox’s dog health company, which is owned by the same guy who invented the BarkBox pet care products, has a really cool new product called BarkBox Therapy. Unlike the products we saw at CES last year, BarkBox Therapy is a new and different way to treat dog mouths and also help prevent gum disease. The treatment is a gel that can be applied to your dog’s gum and teeth that will prevent the bacteria from spreading.

BarkBox Therapy can be used to prevent gum disease and prevent cavities. One customer told us, “I had a dog with tooth decay and BarkBox Therapy made a huge difference. I wouldn’t have had the problem without the treatment.
